Creek bottom blues is an ambient blues track that was recorded in one take. This was one of those times where I’m glad I hit the record button…randomly, not knowing how it would turn out.  

A lot of times I just sit down, turn the amp on, pick out a guitar that looks inviting and start playing. This song is 100% improv. 

The video was recorded from the creek bottom on my property that’s  been in our family for close to 80 years.  It means a lot to me and there are so many memories that have been made here. 

Seasons have come and gone.  Campouts, campfires, hunting, fishing, but at the same time it brings some pain. I miss my old man. He was such a big part of me growing up on this place. I guess missing him is where my blues comes from.
